Awwww - Doggie Kisses!

Matt has a good thing going. He started a dog sitting business years ago and any time a neighbor needs help with their pet he get's a call. It's been a great way for him to earn some $$$ - and that's good, 'cause the boy likes to spend! And he's good at it. And dogs like him.

He helped with a new set of Pomeranians and I don't know what made me bring my camera, but I'm so glad I did. They LOVED Matt to no end:

It was hilarious!

This is another *HyBrId*  Used Jen Martakis Photo-A-Day template 2 that I altered, and her new March digi kit.  Had it printed out, and embellished with the cutest little Making Memories flowers and brads that came in a great crop prize from 2Peas. Gotta check out those online crops. You can win cool stuff! I sewed on some ric rac and added a tag to finish.

I've gotten a couple of questions about hybrid layouts, so if you're new to hybrid or digi, here's how I altered the template to suit my photos.  This is what Jen's template looked like to start:

I turned it on it's side:

and used the left side and top side rectangles for small pics. For the larger pic, I deleted 3 of the remaining 4 rectangles and enlarged the last rectangle to hold my large photo.  I turned the journaling around, moved my title, and deleted the embellishment circles:

Have I told you how much I LOVE LOVE LOVE templates? They make scrapping so much more fun, because you get to concentrate on the fun stuff - like what cool doo-dad you're going to embellish the layout with!

have a great and creative day! and thanks for stopping by!

Jen Martakis digital + Jenni Bowlin stash =

Used Jen Martakis' White Space1 and February Gingham. Have I said how much I love the February stuff Jen put out?!!

Embellished with gorgeous Jenni Bowlin stash: chipboard buttons, bingo cards, and that beautiful Core'dinations Cardstock. My favorite Martha butterfly punch, and Technique Tuesday stamps along the edges.

Caught the boys reading together years ago and took this shot. Sooo cute, huh?

Cool new stuff in the scrapbook world!

Erica Hernandez is teaching a great free digital class over at twopeasinabucket.com .  Here's the link to January's class: Digi 101

Little Light Studio is a great new site. Just gorgeous - started up by Wilna Furstenberg and Kayla Aimee.

A new kit is up at Jenni Bowlin Mercantile. So gorgeous and you've gotta check out the DT gallery!

ScrapHD is LIVE!

Such a cool new way of looking at digital! Jenni Bowlin and other great manufacturers are on board with this. Here's one I did - used some JB butterflies here! You can actually scroll through the album. You'll see Jen Martakis' This Year kit in one of the pages (the flowers)! As a ScrapHD.net club member, you can download your own digital elements, too.

Studio Hillary's Retiring Sale and an Adorable Love album from Jen Martakis

I've just LOVED creating with Hillary's digi templates and products over at Scrapbookgraphics.com . But Hillary needs to turn her attention to family and other things, so she'll be retiring her store. Her store will close on February 12th. She's having one heck of a sale! Here's a link to her store.

The prices in the shop list at normal price, but will be 50% off at checkout. You can also use a coupon for another 25% off. Here's part of the deal from the newsletter:

This is how it works. The general 50% discount can only be seen when you check out. It does not show up in the store, so products look to be their 'regular' price. However, when you check out, you'll see the discount. At this point, you add in the special extra coupon SHRETIRES at checkout to add the extra 25% off to your order.

Here's a hybrid:  Studio Hillary layout template + October Afternoon =

And to celebrate Hillary I collected some of the layouts i did using Studio Hillary templates here:

pretty much all except 2 are hybrid.

So . . . head on over to Studio Hillary and pick up some GREAT deals!

Thank you Hillary for everything and your creativity!

I hope my sil doesn't read this - but I made her a Valentine - a mini album using a new printable digi kit from Jen Martakis.  Here's one shot:

and you can see a lot more here.
I just LOVE her entire February line. The colors are incredible and I can't get enough of the frames in the February elements.  And on that note:
